GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE (GTC)
All offers from Fresh Horizon GmbH are subject to the following General Terms and Conditions of Sale. By purchasing a course online or in person, you accept these General Terms and Conditions in full.
Ski Passes and Equipment
– Ski lift passes are not included in the course price.
– Ski, snowboard, or telemark equipment is not included in the course price.
– Fresh Horizon GmbH accepts no liability in case of loss, theft, or damage to your snow sports equipment.
– If you forget your equipment, Fresh Horizon GmbH will not adjust the course schedule. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrive on time and properly equipped for the lesson.
Insurance and Accidents
– Insurance is not included in the course prices.
– Ski lifts offer accident insurance at the cost of CHF 4.- or CHF 6.- per person per day. Details of this insurance can be found at www.snowassist.ch
– Fresh Horizon GmbH assumes no liability in the event of accidents and/or illness.
Course Sales
– By paying online or in person, the customer accepts all of these General Terms and Conditions.
– Fresh Horizon GmbH accepts payments via PostFinance, Visa and Mastercard.
– Prices displayed in Euros (€) are for informational purposes only and are subject to daily adjustment.
– Fresh Horizon GmbH accepts cash payments in Swiss Francs (CHF) or Euros (€) at a fixed, non-negotiable exchange rate of 1 € = 1 CHF. Change is returned in Swiss Francs.
– Ski course tickets are personal, non-transferable, and non-refundable. Pricing policies are binding.
Private Lessons
– The schedule for private lessons is agreed upon mutually before purchase. Pricing policies are binding.
– In case of a late arrival, Fresh Horizon GmbH will not reschedule or compensate for lost time. Customers must arrive promptly at the meeting point.
Cancellations and Refunds
– Ski lessons are non-refundable.
– No refunds are offered for cancellations due to adverse weather conditions, facility closures, or other circumstances beyond the control of Fresh Horizon GmbH.
– Fresh Horizon GmbH strongly recommends purchasing trip cancellation insurance when booking ski lessons or ski passes at the ski lift ticket counters.
– Course tickets will not be exchanged or refunded if a participant fails to attend.
Pandemic-Related Policies
Fresh Horizon GmbH has introduced specific pandemic policies, as pandemics represent extraordinary circumstances. This clause is an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions and allows customers to receive a refund (minus an administration fee of CHF 20.-) if official restrictions prevent participation. Recognized restrictions include:
– A partial or complete lockdown in Switzerland causing the ski school to close.
– Partial or complete restrictions in the customer’s home country.
– Quarantine requirements imposed by Switzerland upon entry or by the customer’s home country upon return, making travel unreasonable.
This clause applies only to the course duration. It does not apply if restrictions do not affect the scheduled lessons.
Fresh Horizon GmbH is not liable for a customer’s inability to attend due to non-binding reasons (e.g., personal caution, travel recommendations) or non-governmental reasons (e.g., personal issues, illness, or accidents). Customers are responsible for securing proper insurance against such risks.
Miscellaneous
For internal purposes (e.g., training, preparation courses) or promotional purposes, photos of lessons or participants may be taken and published on our website and social media platforms without prior consent from participants, companions, or parents.
